The news has been inundated with projections regarding Hurricane Florence, and rightfully so. Preparation during hurricane season should be a way of life and good business practice too. There is little doubt that the Virginia- Carolina region will have a period where timber harvesting and wood movement will be very difficult. This can cause a very negative economic drain on our mills, loggers, and forest landowners.
