Women on the Land Chainsaw Safety Course

The Massachusetts Women Landowner Group (Women on the Land), Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, North County Land Trust, and the Hubbardston Open Space Committee is offering a two-day chainsaw safety course to build proficiency for beginning women chainsaw users. Work together with a small group of fellow female landowners to learn about personal protective equipment, parts of the saw, methods for handling and starting a saw, and basic cutting techniques. This course is intended for beginners and aimed at women who own and steward land in Massachusetts.

Registration is limited, so please register early!

When: Saturday, November 20 – Sunday, November 21 | 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Where: Hubbardston, MA. Driving directions will be sent after registration

Cost: Free! 

We will be following Covid guidelines to ensure our collective safety. Please bring your own facemask. Social distancing will be maintained. If you are feeling sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home and refrain from participating.
